About Help For Heroes

Help For Heroes was established in October 2007 by Bryn Parry, in order to support servicemen and women wounded on operational duty in the Armed Forces.

To date the charity has raised over £15 million with several high profile events including an international rugby match at Twickenham and the release of the single ‘Hero’ from X-Factor finalists, which became the fastest-selling charity single of the decade.

In addition to the better-known events, there have been numerous smaller scale fundraisers held every month around the country.

About The Event

H4H International Rugby – Dorset is a two-day event held in Meyrick Park, Bournemouth to raise funds for Help For Heroes, a charity supporting servicemen and women wounded on operational duty.

On the Saturday night, we will be hosting a Gala Dinner for 300 guests, which will feature a charity auction.

Sunday is the main match day which will include live rugby matches featuring a Combined Services XV, an International XV, the British Lionesses, and a Regional Returning Heroes XV. In addition, there will be displays and demonstrations from the Armed Forces, concessionary stands and children’s fairground rides. Following the matches in the evening there is the End Of Event Party, which has space for up to 400 guests.

All of the profits from the event will go to Help For Heroes, with a massive turnout expected over the course of the weekend.
